Hannah Vojsak is a dedicated ballet educator with a passion for developing both the dancer and the artist. Since beginning her teaching journey more than two decades ago, she has focused on helping dancers build strong technical foundations while developing a lasting love for the art form. She believes ballet can shape young people in meaningful ways beyond the studio, teaching them to persevere through challenges, recognize their own potential, and use their gifts with purpose.

Hannah’s pre-professional training began with the River City Youth Ballet Ensemble, West Virginia’s official youth ballet company, under the direction of Michelle Raider. She continued her training at BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio, studying under instructors including Yoko Ichino, Susan Dromisky, and Catherine Yoshimura. Her training focused primarily on classical ballet and Horton modern technique, with additional study in jazz and contemporary dance.

Throughout her teaching career, Hannah has worked with dancers in a variety of settings, including serving as a co-director of dance programs during her time overseas in Germany. She joined the faculty of Academy of Ballet in 2021 and currently serves as Artistic Director. In this role, she is committed to maintaining a strong classical ballet program and helping shape an environment where dancers are encouraged to pursue excellence in their training while developing their individual artistry.

As a director and choreographer, Hannah has staged and directed numerous full-length ballets, including The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Her productions honor the tradition of classical ballet while incorporating thoughtful storytelling and opportunities for dancers to develop their expression, confidence, and stage presence.

Hannah holds certifications in American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum and Progressing Ballet Technique.
