Eveline Erard

Proprietor, Executive Director

Mrs. Eveline Erard, proprietor of the Academy of Ballet, serves as its Executive Director. Mrs. Erard and her family have been part of the Fredericksburg community for more than forty years, and she has devoted much of that time to the growth and development of the Academy and to sharing the art of classical ballet with generations of young dancers.

Throughout her years with the Academy, Mrs. Erard has remained committed to preserving the tradition and discipline of classical ballet while providing students with a strong foundation in both technique and artistry. She believes that dance training can have a lasting influence on a young person's life, teaching qualities such as discipline, perseverance, confidence, responsibility, and an appreciation for beauty and the arts.

Mrs. Erard has had the privilege of seeing generations of students grow through their years at the Academy and values the lasting relationships that have been formed with dancers and their families. She is grateful for the many families who have entrusted their children to the Academy and who have contributed to its history and continued presence in the Fredericksburg community.

As the mother of two daughters, Mrs. Erard understands the importance of providing children with opportunities to discover the arts and develop their gifts. Her hope is that each student who comes through the Academy will not only receive excellent dance training, but will also carry with them a lifelong appreciation for ballet, the arts, and the values that dance instills.
